KATHREIN Broadcast strengthens international partnership with American Amplifier Technologies

KATHREIN Broadcast is continuing its strategic realignment. Moving forward, the company will place an even stronger focus on its core markets while unlocking new growth opportunities through close cooperation with international partners. These partnerships create synergies in development, sales, and service, forming the basis to respond even more quickly to technological trends and evolving customer needs.

As part of this strategy, American Amplifier Technologies (AAT) has acquired 100% of the shares in KATHREIN Broadcast USA and will continue operating the company under the same name. “This step strengthens our global presence. AAT has been familiar with the U.S. markets for years and can position our products there even more effectively. At the same time, we are building on a close sales partnership with AAT ensuring the Scala product line remains available worldwide,” said Jörg Lippert, designated CEO of KATHREIN Broadcast GmbH.

The SCALA product line stands for robust, standardized equipment specifically developed for the North American broadcast market. Covering a wide frequency spectrum, it serves both traditional broadcast applications and modern digital requirements. Under AATs ownership and through synergies with its core business, these products will be even more closely aligned with the needs of local markets in the future.
